What Drop Rate Group Does

A group identifier that links multiple campaigns together for shared abandon rate calculation. When set, VICIdial calculates the 3% FTC abandon rate limit across all campaigns in the same group rather than per-campaign. Required for multi-campaign operations to maintain accurate regulatory compliance.

How to Change This Setting

• Navigate to Admin > Campaigns

• Select campaign

• Find Drop Rate Group field

• Enter group name (same string for all campaigns that share the rate calculation)

• Apply same group name to all related campaigns

• Submit for each campaign

Common Problems

Not setting this when running concurrent campaigns means each campaign independently approaches 3% — combined actual rate may exceed limit

Different group names for related campaigns defeats shared calculation

Must set for all campaigns simultaneously to take effect
