What Pause Disposition Does
When enabled, requires agents to select a disposition/reason when they pause. Works in conjunction with agent_pause_codes_active to provide detailed reporting on how agent non-call time is spent across different pause reasons.
Recommended Configuration
| Center Size | Recommended Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 10–25 Agents | Y for granular pause reporting | Start conservative, monitor for 48 hours before adjusting |
| 25–100 Agents | Y for granular pause reporting | Scale gradually — larger operations amplify effects of misconfiguration |
| 100–500 Agents | Y for granular pause reporting | Consult ViciStack optimization team for enterprise-scale tuning |
