What AMD Type Does

Selects the answering machine detection algorithm. NONE disables AMD entirely. ASTERISK uses Asterisk’s built-in AMD application. MACHINE_ONLY routes all AMD-detected calls to voicemail. HUMAN_ONLY only connects AMD-identified human answers. Choice dramatically affects contact rate and agent efficiency.

How to Change This Setting

• Navigate to Admin > Campaigns

• Select campaign

• Find AMD Type setting

• Select from: NONE, ASTERISK, MACHINE_ONLY, HUMAN_ONLY, or other available options

• Configure associated AMD settings after selection

• Run A/B test to benchmark AMD accuracy for your traffic

• Submit
